The KTI ultra-low temperature cold storage is in a CSC-certified 40-foot container integrated. This enables quick assembly and allows easy transport worldwide - wherever and whenever the ultra-low temperature cold storage is needed.
The ultra-low temperature cold storage is designed as "Box-in-Box"-system, which consists of an air lock zone at -20°C and the Ultra-low temperature section down to -110 °C . This two-chamber principle reduces heat input to a minimum. Likewise, the humidity inside can be controlled by dehumidification in the airlock.
The used refrigerants are air and CO2. Thus, our solution is the first ultra-low temperature storage container with natural refrigerants only - more sustainability is not possible.
